This Karambit Knife is crafted from pattern-welded Damascus steel, a heat-treated, folded carbon steel known for its hardness and durability. The blade is composed of 11 pieces of steel, folded five times, resulting in a staggering 352 layers. A Rockwell hardness rating between 55 and 56 HRC testifies to its resilience. The high carbon Damascus steel incorporates layers of the highest carbon-content steel, 1095, which imparts strength to hold a powerful edge and the flexibility to withstand powerful impacts. The handle is fashioned from black horn, adding to the knife’s robust character. The knife is accompanied by a protective leather sheath.
